A Brief History

The company was formed in 1986 by 3 former Gross/Chubb engineers and in the early years concentrated on supplying and servicing electronic cash registers.

In 1990 the company decided to expand into supplying other hospitality machines such as glasswashers, ice makers, bottle coolers & note checkers and around the turn of the new millennium a natural expansion into bar & restaurant consumables also took place.
Halton Bar Supplies continue to supply the traditional cash registers but technology is forever changing and are now involved in supplying the latest Epos and Touch Screen terminals, linking terminals together using Windows© technology and enabling end users to produce comprehensive back office reports to meet the demands of financial and management reporting required in the current business climate.

Under new ownership since April 2008 the company continues to supply its traditional markets but realises to grow it must deliver the requirements of an ever demanding and changing society.
The original owners still work within the business and together with the new owner are determined to see Halton Bar Supplies uphold its traditional values of quality and service.
