For Hospitality the SX 680 can operate:

• Completely stand-alone
• With inter-register communication (IRC) for consolidated reporting (up to 8 models)
• Linked to PC for simple sales reporting and/or full inventory control

Menu Look Up (MLU) buttons enable this small footprint ECR to have 200+ pre-set menu items on the keyboard. MLUs simplify and speed customer service because you need only one button position to select up to 6 menu items.

SX-680 is reliable by design, so service costs are kept to a minimum. There are no ribbons to change. Its 'drop and load' 58mm printer makes changing paper rolls easy and helps to prevent paper jams.

SX-680's flash memory technology means that it can always be upgraded to the latest specification via a plug-in program loader.

With up to 20,000 product lines and scanning, SX-680 gives independent retailers EPOS capability at ECR price.
SX-680 allows automated entry of barcoded items and a simple procedure for entering product prices and descriptions.
When items not on the system are scanned for the first time, SX-680 'learns' the barcode, requests entry of the price and stores the information for future recognition.
SX-680 automatically generates shelf-edge labels when new products are entered or when prices/product descriptions are changed. There are also Price Check and Multi Buy/Mix and Match functions.
Up to 99 suppliers by name can be held in memory and products falling below your minimum stock level automatically print on the Re-order Report.
SX-680 can be supplied with SuperScan - a built-in, solid-state stock control scanning programme that operates without the necessity for a PC.
Reports produced by SuperScan include Best Sellers, Worst Sellers and Non Movers. SuperScan also provides product re-order lists by supplier and prints shelf-edge labels.
SX-680 can be linked to back office PC and single/multi-site stock control software.
